Sachie first became interested in and started learning holistic medicine through the practice of bodywork and Vipassana Buddhism meditation in 2003. Later, in 2005, her curiosity led her to Thailand to further explore this field with the principles of Thai massage, as they strongly relate to Buddhist philosophy. She continued practicing the art of Thai massage passed down from the master, Ajarn Pichest, from 2006 for the next 6 years.

In 2007, she co-established Thai Massage Athens in Greece, where she gave treatments and taught at various places, including the award-winning 5-star hotel, Amirandes, in Crete Island, as well as the renowned oriental medicine school in Athens, the European Institute of Oriental Medicine. "Sachie is one of the most graceful, wise human beings I know, and is a living example of the benefits of Medical Qi Gong.

Over the years I have taken both her group classes and private sessions, which have introduced me to the inner strength and balance one can gain from this layered practice. Sachie’s presence is both gentle and strong, and her deep knowledge of Medical Qi Gong is evidenced in her classes, as well as her general peaceful presence. As a student this helped me to not only listen to her instructions but really feel my way through the postures and embody her guidance.

Sachie is especially skilled at observing students’ strengths and weaknesses and addressing them immediately, so you learn to practice the correct techniques from the start – and, most importantly, understand the importance behind them; the why.

Much of Medical Qi Gong is incredibly subtle and requires long-term, deep practice and study to teach effectively: Sachie lives and breathes this practice. I can guarantee that after a few classes or private sessions, at the bare minimum, your posture will have shifted for the better and you will be breathing and experiencing life with greater awareness. At best, you will be signing up for more classes and transitioning into a deeper version of yourself."

"Everyday during the retreat was full of insights, developments and challenges for me and I did my best to embrace it all.

I very much appreciate Sachie's style and in particular, the way she breaks down every single move or action within each pose. So much depth and detail, without there being too much information. At the end, I felt as though I had been taken on a journey and experienced some minor and major transformations.

Through the practice, I gained a deeper insight and understanding of my body, the law of nature and the flow of energy in and around us. This had had a huge impact on me and I am beginning to get a sense of what this means and how powerful it is.

This includes allowing space within us and allowing the energy to settle before taking the next step. I felt so grounded and solid in myself at the end of the retreat. I came back to a very hectic and a lot of uncertainty. The practice gave me the sense that no matter how much the world shakes outside – we will never be able to control or change this. What can be different is how stable we are in our core being."

"It is with great pleasure and full confidence that I recommend Sachie Tsuyuki's Medical Qi Gong. Four years ago I was having a few health issues: my left ankle had been giving me problems for 15 years, my knee was a bit weak and often sore and my left shoulder often ached.

I had been going to a Thai massage therapist who brought some relief but the conditions returned. Then a friend suggested I try Medical Qi Gong with Sachie.

After three months most of my ailments disappeared and after six months I had no more symptoms. Additionally I had been a bit clumsy and would trip over things, something that became more dangerous as I aged. I am now definitely more balanced and grounded. A byproduct of this practice is that I am more able to concentrate in my meditation.

Sachie's confident, sympathetic and joyous manner make her an excellent instructor. Her insight into Qigong and her innate empathy make the class a joy and I always looked forward to them.

I am pleased to give Sachie my very highest recommendation. I do not exaggerate when I say that Qi Gong changed my life."

"Sachie and I first crossed paths at a brief Qi Gong retreat in Bali, conducted by Master Teacher, Ajarn Toh in 2015. I was instinctively pulled to her energy—a quiet refinement—in the bluff and bluster of my early days with energy work. I had been struggling with chronic fatigue since 2010. My path at the time seemed to draw me away from a muscular yoga practice towards an enquiry far more subtle and feminine in temperament.

The following year, I was so taken that I joined a foundational 'Medical Qi Gong-Level 1' course at Thai Qi Holistics in Chiang Mai. Sachie was my primary instructor here and I cannot praise her enough. She guided movement gently and with exceptional clarity, allowing our intuitive bodied intelligence to take cue. With incremental precision, she developed an 'armature' of instructional support, so that each gesture may evolve, in time, with more and more detailed awareness. And sometimes, suddenly, something would catch, as though there is a unified feel of flow within. This 'something,' exquisite, now here, goes away, but it is witnessed in Sachie's own practices and in her submission to the traditional wisdom where Qi Gong arises

I of course learned the very basics of the form during this training. With Sachie, I also learned absolutely invaluable lessons about 'teaching' in the field of energy work. Above all, the resonance of this remains, guides, grows onwards: the taste of true life force.

For this, I am humbled, in gratitude."

"Since I met Sachie in a Medical Qi Gong workshop in Turkey, my whole understanding of motion has changed. I am a yoga instructor and I thought I had knowledge of motion and the function of our body, but it turned out that this was not the case !

The instructions in Medical Qi Gong were very clear, with soft movement though an understanding of core awareness, but my body was resisting to let go of the tension I was holding. The moment I noticed my habitual and repetitive reactions to the motions, I fell in love with the system. With Sachie's deep understanding, patience and experience, I started feeling my body and learned to let go.

After one workshop, I knew I wanted more. I subscribed myself for more courses in Chiang Mai and I started applying the principal of Qi Gong in daily movements, Yoga practices and also in my life. The changes are not just in physicality, but also happening in my mentality and emotions.

I feel so blessed to meet such amazing teachers like Ajarn Toh and Sachie. Their guidance is most valuable for me in my physical and spiritual awareness. I thank them every day for opening such a path ahead of me with evolutions continuing every second. I'm very excited for what is about to come."

"We met Sachie in Chiang Mai over three years ago when we were first exploring the practice of Qi Gong. We had both had ankle fractures, resulting from falls, and were told by friends that qigong might help us with balance and the difficulty we were having with walking and pain.

We recall how kind and caring Sachie was that first day when we were unable to keep up with the other students who could stand for long periods of time. After the class, Sachie introduced us to her teacher Ajarn Toh and from then on we went regularly to his TQH clinic two times a week for instruction and, when necessary, acupuncture and Qi massage. We have benefited greatly from the Qi Gong program. Our balance and walking has improved and we have become calmer as a result of the deep breathing and meditation that is taught along with the movements.

Sachie was an excellent and professional teacher who was sensitive to our specific needs and physical challenges. Her explanations were clear and she worked with us until we could "get it right". In addition, Sachie is a trained and proficient Qi massage therapist.

We miss Sachie in Chiang Mai, but are pleased that she is sharing her knowledge in other parts of the world. We are continuing qigong practice with Ajarn Toh and on our own at home. We have found a caring and supportive community among the teachers and students at the clinic. Learners of all ages enjoy practicing together and giving encouragement to one another. We are very appreciative of our Qi Gong family and instructors, including Sachie who is first rate. We highly recommend her to you as teacher of Medical Qi Gong."
